Robert Higham launched Additive Manufacturing Solutions Ltd. (AMS) in 2017. Robert is a Chartered Engineer and has experience across academia, motorsport, space and aerospace. Robert was responsible for the qualification of materials, processes and parts produced by additive manufacturing most recently for Airbus before creating AMS. Between 2011 and 2019, he was the Design Director at Digits2Widgets, a leading UK Additive Manufacturing service bureau. From 2020, he has been the owner of Advanced SLS, a design and education consultancy focused on fostering the uptake of the Design for Additive Manufacturing principles in industry and education. Professor Serena Graziosi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Politecnico di Milano, a member of the Methods and Tools for Product Design Research Group, member of the AddMe.Lab and the leader of the Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) Special Interest Group (SIG) supported and promoted by the Design Society. Dr Patrick Pradel is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Design and Manufacturing and a member of the Digital Design & Fabrication research group at the Loughborough University School of Design and Creative Arts.
